The well- known brand STRAUSS’s general manager Shih-Chen Chiang et al. visited our department to discuss curricular cooperation issues related to Interior Furniture Design Program.
On September 4 (Tuesday), four high-ranking officials of STRAUSS, Taiwan’s famous furniture brand, including the general manager, Mr. Shih-Chen Chiang (second from the right) and the vice general manager, Mr. Chien-Hsing Li (the second row, first from the left) visited the Institute. The Dean, Professor Tung-Jung Sung, chairman Chien-Hsiung Chen of Department of Design and chairman Kung-Jen Tu of Department of Architecture welcomed them in person. The visitors provided constructive and practical suggestions regarding curricula of Interior and Furniture Design Program. In addition, perspectives between academia and industry were exchanged and possibilities of future cooperation were discussed.
