Application for the College of Design BEST Test of English Proficiency Incentive for the 113th Academic Year Opens on April 14
Dear students,
To support the “The Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College” enhance students’ English proficiency, and strengthen their competitiveness after graduation and in the international arena, the College of Design has developed an English proficiency enhancement plan. This incentive is established to encourage current students to participate in the BEST Test of English Proficiency.
Eligibility: All undergraduate students of the College of Design (excluding in-service program students and international students).
Incentive Details:
Students who achieve a CEFR B2 level in either the Listening & Reading or Speaking & Writing sections of the BEST Test of English Proficiency will receive an incentive of NT$2,000.
Each student may apply for the incentive only once for the Listening & Reading section and once for the Speaking & Writing section.
This incentive is administered in accordance with the “National Taiwan University of Science and Technology College of Design Student Participation in the BEST Test of English Proficiency Incentive Guidelines.”
Application Period: April 14 (Monday) to April 25 (Friday), until 17:00.

Required Documents for Online Submission:
Complete the Google Form online
BEST Test of English Proficiency score report or certificate (please upload a complete A4-sized copy; incomplete images will be considered as incomplete submission)
Proof of current enrollment (please download the most up-to-date certificate from the student information system; only certificates showing enrollment in the 113-2 semester are valid)
Copy of your postal savings account passbook (must be your own account, otherwise the application will not be processed)

Review and Notification:
The College will begin reviewing applications starting April 28. If there are any questions regarding your application, you will be contacted via email during the same week. Please pay close attention to the email address you provide to avoid affecting your application rights.
Note: Due to limited funding for this academic year, if the number of applicants exceeds the available quota, priority will be given to senior and junior students. Incentives for freshmen and sophomores will be distributed using next year’s budget (further notice will be provided).
